ILEA's June Member Spotlight - @kenzie.boesen!!

How long have you been a member?

I have been a member since June of last year but I am loving it! I attended an event last April and after doing further research, knew I had to join! 

What company or organization do you work at right now?

I currently am focusing on finishing my degree in Business Administration while also running my own event decor company, Northern Eclectic Event Co., with my co-owner, Jillian Rockafellow! 

What do you like most about being a member?

I really enjoy the connections I have gained through ILEA! Having a group of professionals that are familiar with some of the same items I deal with in my company is such a great comfort and way to gain new knowledge and insights! 

What career advice do you live by? Who gave it to you?

My favorite piece of advice is actually a quote from one of my favorite shows, Gilmore Girls. It is the quote “In Omnia Paratus” which means “ready for all things,” something I believe is essential, especially in the ever-changing event world of unexpected surprises! 

If you could collaborate with anyone, who would it be? Why?

My dream collaboration would be with any concert venue or music festival! I would love to create a unique, intricate design for anything having to do with the music/entertainment world! 

What excites you the most right now?

I have been loving colorful floral bouquets right now! They are filling up my social media feeds and it just brings so much happiness! Along with colorful balloon
